HC Classic

These gloves were originally designed by Way Cool for tandem skydiving instructors to enable them to self video tandem skydives. The idea was to offer the customer more choice of video products and to give them the option of video at a more affordable price when the available aircraft seating capacity is limited. Please note that this style of video is a different product and is not intended to replace the conventional outside video person. Some interesting camera shots are achievable with practice, and the instant facial and vocal expressions immediately after opening are unique to this style of videography. Since the camera is mounted on the back of the hand and allows unrestricted use of the open palm and fingers, the glove is also being used by BASE jumpers to get spectacular shots. These gloves have also been used by snow boarders, skaters, para gliders and skiers to get a wide variety of action shots.

Way Cool offers two glove styles, the HC Classic and the HC Pro and both are left hand mounts by default.

Both gloves now incorporate webbing loops to accommodate our HC alti mounting strap. We offer the HC Alti mounting strap for 25% discount if purchased with a HC Glove.

HC Gloves are usually available from pre-production stock for Sony PC Cameras 5,6,8,9,101,103,105 and 350. This Model also fits some cameras from JVC and Canon.
We now have the PC109 and 1000 available as a standard model.
Custom Gloves are available for PC1, 3, 7, 10, 110 & 120 in HC Classic only and must be paid for in advance. Also the Sony IP5, IP7, IP45 & IP55 Micro MV are available now as HC Pro custom orders only.

The gloves are available in two hand sizes:

• Medium (up to 240mm or 9.125")
• Large (240 mm/9.125" or more)

This is measured with a cloth tape around your clenched knuckles See additional images for help with measurement. If your hand is 265mm/10.4375" then we can make you a custom extra large glove! Please provide this information at the checkout comments.
