Optic Never used!

This is a ssecond hand helmet but is still in the bag and never used. It is a small shell and has all the lining parts required to make it into any size from extra small to medium.

It has a couple of very minor scratches from being transported.

We made the OPTIK to be a great all around camera helmet with the ability to mount cameras either on the side or on the top or BOTH! The OPTIK also features a small lip on the back side of the side camera mounting platform to help deflect "Riser-Strike" and to help prevent the accidental loss of your camera, and the ability to put 1 or 2 audible altimeters on the inside of the helmet and not have to worry about them sailing off in freefall.

Whether you mount your camera on the top or the side or both, the OPTIK is a great camera helmet setup regardless of what flying position you are in! The OPTIK comes standard with BH's ingenious Thermal-Fit liner, and ratcheted chin-cup. The only things the OPTIK doesn't come with is your creativity, D-Box and cameras!

  This chart is only a guide. Some people may have a unique head shape changing what size they need. Some helmets fit different shaped heads better than others. The ingenious Thermal-Fit liner does help to get a great fit though!

  Helmet Measuring Guide On most Bonehead helmets, the only dimensions you need to measure is your head circumference as shown below, just below where you would normally wear a hat or head band.

Be very sure of sizing before ordering any custom helmet. It is always better if you demo a helmet for fit and size before you purchase.

We now only ship helmets in protective boxes to prevent damage. Boxed helmets have a large shipping weight by volume and this website cannot use normal shipping calculations to calculate volumetric weight. Helmets cannot be shipped in air bags.

Air freight for boxes is expensive, pricing is highly dependent on destination and only an estimate is given in the air option.
