We make HC Gloves for the most popular camcorders among adventure sport users - mainly Sony. Please see the drop down list on the HC Glove product pages for details. (In the add to cart section under the product details) We also have this list for your convenience>>
4. My standby switch doesn't line up with the access hole when secured into my HC Glove, what do I do?
The HC Gloves are designed so that when the standby switch is centred in the switch flap hole, everything will line up. Please align the standby switch 1st then secure the closing flap as tightly as possible - See images>> and click construction details. It is a common mistake to tighten the closing flap with the camera misaligned. See our Hand-Cam product sheet for more details.
5. My glove is uncomfortable on my forearm is it too tight?
The HC gloves are designed to be a firm fit for a couple of reasons
To ensure maximum camera stability
To give the user confidence to use the glove in extreme environments
Most extreme applications for the HC gloves are for a short time period and we advise users to loosen the zip a little when using the glove in less extreme conditions. A good example of this is tandem parachute instructors after canopy deployment. The gloves are still quite secure even with the zip fully loosened and we advise that if necessary the zip be loosened after opening before brake release to relieve pressure on the forearm.
We have increased the size of our current glove range slightly to increase comfort. The latest models have more room in the forearm area.
